As the summer ends, we'll all need a little mood boost so we invite you join STANY-WIF and our Special Guest, Meena Saggar, for an interactive Happy Hour.

Our friend Meena has been keeping herself busy during COVID lockdown (while also WFH) by discovering and sharing a love of cooking and mixology. Meena will share several cocktail ideas to help us transition to Fall in this interactive Zoom meeting. Mix your cocktail along with us or just brng your own special drink and learn what you can make for future celebrations. We hope to see you.

Drink ingredients:

ESPRESSO MARTINI -A LITTLE PICK ME UP!

2 oz vodka

½ oz simple syrup (You can make your own using 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 cup water. Add the sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool.)

½ oz coffee liqueur(kahlua)

1 oz freshly brewed espresso (can use any coffee- even instant!)

Coffee beans for garnish

GIN BASIL SMASH – WHAT HOW DID I FINISH IT SO QUICKLY!

INGREDIENTS

2 oz gin or vodka (any gin/vodka you love will work)

1 oz fresh lemon juice

1 oz simple syrup 

10 basil leaves
