STANY WIF Sponsored RIVER Walk & NETWORKING EVENT to Benefit Razom

June 28th River Walk and Networking Event

STANY Women in Finance, have engaged in spring fundraising campaigns for worthwhile charities in the past. This year, our hearts, minds and efforts are turned to the humanitarian and human rights crisis in Ukraine. Razom, a NY based charity, is at the forefront of providing aid on the ground in Ukraine. We hope that you will join STANY WIF in raising money for humanitarian aid and help women and children impacted by ongoing war.

Tickets are $200, and includes the walk and networking cocktails. If you cannot attend, you can still support the cause by donating.

Space is limited, please sign up early!

Walk Location: Westside Greenway, enjoy a walk along the Hudson River.

Meet in front of the 79th Street Boat Basin Cafe at 5:15 PM

Select a 2 mile, 3 mile, or walk the full 5 mile round trip to 125th Street and back.

Cocktail Location: The Speakeasy Room at The Gin Mill- 81st and Amsterdam

• Those wishing to leave bags can plan to drop them at the The Gin Mill before the walk
• There will be no rain date

About Razom:

Razom, which means "together" in Ukrainian, initiates short and long-term projects and collaborates on existing projects with partner organizations on the ground in Ukraine, all with the mission of building a more prosperous Ukraine. Razom took action via its Emergency Response project to provide urgent help and support in face of an extreme or unforeseen situation in Ukraine. Razom provides critical humanitarian war relief and recovery on the ground depending on the most urgent needs as they evolve, with the mission of saving as many Ukrainian lives as possible. On average, Razom has shipped more than 50 pallets of aid to Ukraine each week since the start of the war. In the first month of the war, we shipped over 218 tons of supplies.
